Morning all!

Melissa & Sherry- any replies to the emails yet? We'll see what the photo angel/faerie brings today....hopefully a photo! LOL Hey, check this out: "Here's an easy way to improve your health this weekend: make a date to get together with your favorite friend. Not only are friends good for your mental well-being, but they also may improve your physical health profile, too. In a study of people with hypertension, the people who had the fewest friends and family members in their social circle had the highest blood pressure readings. RealAge Benefit: Taking care of your emotional health and well-being can make your RealAge up to 16 years younger. " I get this "Real Age" email tip everyday and this was today's tip. I think you can sign up for these by just going to www.realage.com. They're pretty cool & they have some good tests there too (I think they're associated with Emode). I ran out of time again today to set the VCR, so hopefully (no offense) it won't be a huge Rick & Todd day again LOL!! 'Course, though, if I *finally* get my photo today, then that will completely make up for it.

Leslie! Hope the trip to Wonderland Park wasn't too colorful! :-P Adamaniacs - LMAO- reminds me of the cartoon Animalmaniacs- or is that the result/influence of your watching too many cartoons still?? Girl, we need to get you some PG-13 & R stuff! Adamaniacs is a great name though! I'd love a group blog road trip....wouldn't that just be a blast? It'd be like slumber parties in the old days, LOL! ROFLMAO- Disney movies on Nyquil..... "I kind of feel like we're the FNC to their CNN" LOL- I need to get my butt on AIM one of these days with you..... OK, girl, as usual you have me ROFLMAO! The whole pun about the TP & not sticking was just too funny. Have I said that I love your humor?? :-D

Sherry- I think my hubby's union is the same way....they actually seem pretty worthless, and I'm sure they support the Dems because he, like I, is a political minority. Yep- that's something I haven't thought of before (should have, but didn't) that the union dues goes to stuff like that (not to mention other things we prolly *don't* know about like paying for vacations to the Bahamas or somewhere). LOL- OK, I'll be sure to fulfill my LevenGals Stalker Duties (hey, didja notice that the initials for that would be LSD? *That's* a scary thought!) if Adam comes to town LOL!! You know, it's been rumored that our mayor, Willie Brown may be eyeing the Governor seat....but he's still active in SF...could be a technical difficulty for him but then again I wouldn't be surprised. In that case, Adam may well be showing up here LOL! *note to Jan too* - I think we'd bring an all new meaning to trouble- LOL!! ;-D

Melissa- Hope you're doing better today! James Rosen was on F & F this morning & I think he was doing an impersonation of Howard Cossell (sp?) and it was sooo funny! I was only listening 'cause I was hurriedly trying to get ready for work, but it was hysterical. He's kinda growing on me too, but not up to the Rick & Todd status yet LOL!! ROFLMAO about Shep's comments- too much!! :-D LOL!! Shep's been at his best in awhile this week, huh!

Nan- It's FRIDAY!!! YAY!! Hope your day goes better today! Uh....did you happen to see O'Reilly last night? Cal Thomas was sitting in for him, but they had Art Torres - head of the DNC in CA on. The only think I liked was the SF skyline outside the window. Blood was boiling. I was *really* yelling at the TV, bad. The vile these people spew about Bush & Republicans in general just....argh.....gets me going.

Jayel- GREAT list of 'most dreaded words'-LOL!! I'm with you on not giving up hope on the jobfront. As bad as things are now here, (but I think they *are* ever so slowly improving) they are better for me now than they were 2 years ago. I was working with an underwriter that no one really got along with well (I had this same situation at my prior job- I was ready) and let's just say that one day I bit back, hard, and he never pushed it again. Ironically enough, we got along after that & he left earlier this year. I think things work out in the end, and it *is* hard waiting to see what happens and hoping for the best. I definitely have my days, and still think about leaving, but when it comes down to the retirement benefits, I just can up and leave those- they're the best I've ever had. So, I'm trying my best to stick it out 'cause if I quit, the disappointment in myself will be harder than staying at the job.

Jen- congrats on losing the most weight! :-D Don't lose so much though that the wind carries you away! You poor girl- I'm sorry you can't take something for that headache! Did you try the ice pack? 18 days left- that's great!! Glad you got your steak soft taco!! That sounds sooo good (even if it's 7:50 AM!)!

Jan- Oh good, that's a relief to know it still went to you- I can understand why you use the MSN account. "no worries"- you know what's funny, is that I put that on one of my emails and it took me by surprise 'cause I didn't really make the connection right away. One of the broker's assistants emailed me yesterday & said "no worries" and I just about fell off my chair laughing! I'm jealous! You get to go to the cabin by the river!! I wanna go!! Reminds me of the rentals that we drive to in OR every Jan/Feb. It's practically on the Rogue River in OR, and it's so peaceful, they have sheep, horses, & alpacas. The lady who runs it has a lot of land and two rental houses there- she's really sweet. I always hate leaving 'cause it's so beautiful & peaceful. Have a great time! Relax some for us too, OK??

OK- I really have to get to work- I'll respond to more recent posts later, at lunch.
