Got the bills done- so I'm going to post really quick (yeah, right) and prolly shut down early so I can try *not* to have insomnia tonight again. :-D Kevin did just fine out there today- but it was the shorter mast. He still has to paint this one & then start on cleaning up & painting the taller one. Oh yeah- my mistake- there's 2 masts, not 3 LOL. Now that you guys mention it, I noticed that Greg was wearing what looked like the same shirt too- he must pack light, it seems like he only has 2 or 3 shirts (that I've seen) that he wears. The dark one & the light blue one come to mind- but no others. We're watching "Analyze This" right now- it's pretty funny so far. DeNiro plays such a good mob guy.
Melissa- Sounds like you've had a fun but busy weekend! Where the Heart Is is a great movie! About the proposal at the ball game- typical for guys- they're just jealous that they couldn't be the ones proposing to someone LOL. The way you described cleaning is about the way I go about it, which *IS* frustrating....after awhile my brain goes into overload and I can't make logical decisions if my life depended on it. It depends on how good I'm doing at it at the time- if I'm sentimental, I can't get rid of anything and I just have to find another way of storing it. Yesterday was sorta therapeutic- better than being at work anyway. I was frustrated that everything still pretty much looked the same when I got done. :-p Overwhelmed is a good way of describing it.....but compared to work I guess it's a good kind of overwhelmed (assuming there is such a thing). The chair Kevin got has a kind of harness with it, but he also used another rope to stabilize as a back up. I think I relaxed about it after awhile. I could *never* go up there- I'm scared to death of heights. Wow- your mom's only 5 or 6 years older than me- how funny. I still feel like I'm in my mid-late 20's. Mmmm....meatloaf w/BBQ sauce- that sounds even better than ketchup! Oooh or A-1 (even if it *is* for steak)- that sounds good too. My problem with exercise lately is that I don't have the energy- but once I do start doing it, I look forward to it. I'm really going to try tomorrow to get started again. Aw, I'm sure you weren't as bad as you say you were talking to Nick- I'm sure you did just fine! He prolly thought you were great to talk to.
Sherry- LOL- I'm usually the one that says "should we call someone". Kevin's really good about fixing stuff- he knows his stuff. I'm *very* fortunate because I wouldn't have a clue about a lot of this stuff (plumbing, electrics, fixing stuff in general). Thank God he has patience- one of us should. ;-D (In case you couldn't tell already, I don't have patience- LOL!)
Jen- I'm sorry you didn't have a good lunch with your friend! The only thing I can say is that if she didn't understand, then she may not be a good friend. Are you sure she wasn't kidding? Maybe (hopefully) she was- I just can't see someone saying that when she knows the circumstances. OK- now you have me curious! You gotta tell me now what you said I'd be rolling about- LOL! (BTW I haven't checked my email yet since this morning so maybe you emailed me- will be checking after I post). I vote for tomorrow's movie being "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" - haven't seen it yet, but it looks good.
OK- I'm going to go check the email & get ready for bed (it's only 8:30 but I gotta start early on Sunday nights LOL). Have a good one everyone!
