Aaaaaayyyyyyiiiiiiiii I'm a kind of sort of nervous wreck now- Kevin's up in a chair thing up on the mast. I'm so afraid of him falling (due to a mechanical problem) There are so many bad angles on a boat that I can't see how you'd survive if you fell. It makes my stomach churn. He wants me to hoist him up & down, but when I tried, I couldn't even turn the crank very far- our neighbor who is at his boat today had to come & turn it. I was using my full body weight and was having a hard time. The masts are very high- and there's 3 of them. Two are 65 feet to the top and the other is about 75 feet up. I know what I've said before....but I think he should get one of the Mexicans from the Canal area to come help somehow. It'd break my code about how I feel about paying someone when they don't have taxes, etc taken out, but I'd much rather do that than lose my hubby. It's just extremely nervewracking to me. Maybe I'll be more relaxed as he goes along. If it were up to me, we'd leave 'em as is. But, he, like myself is a sort of perfectionist and since he's done most of the rest of the boat (painting & stuff) it wouldn't be complete unless the masts are done too. I say to hell with the masts, he's more important. Dumb men- they *never* listen! Oh well- what's new? :-s

Sherry - You're right- there are so many faucets out there. It was the basic of basic faucets that we had- complete with the hand killing turn things (can't think of what they're called). They were clear plastic with pointed angles all around and really hurt to turn them off when it's winter & the water was freezing as it is. SO glad to not have that anymore! :-D Still have the same kind in the bathroom, but that will be replaced soon too & will hopefully be easier than the kitchen one was. The kitchen (or "galley") has this cheap formica like stuff on the counters which was placed over solid teak (I know, sounds rediculous, huh?). We're replacing that maybe this winter. In the bathroom, it's dark green marble, so that shouldn't be a problem- as long as we don't have to drill LOL!

Jayel- Yeah, I think Rita's on a lot now that you mention it.... I agree that they will prolly run the Kobe case into the ground as well. I'm already tired of hearing about it (hehe- that didn't take long, did it?). Jennifer Eccleston was on earlier, but it seemed like it was the same footage as before from yesterday. Crazed soldiers on drugs is definitely scary. I sure wouldn't want to be there. Looks like we share the same not very practical fantasy- I'd love to have a log cabin in the forest in the mountains....but there's that necessity of a job standing in the way. I have a friend (but we haven't been in touch for some time) that lives in Truckee which is near Lake Tahoe. I've seen pics of their place & it looks like heaven. LOL about "That Face" yeah, can't you just see someone else's face there? I guess we'll have to use our imaginations. ;-D

Jen- I'll have to check those tapes out..... I'm really interested in doing those & yoga, so I'm always open to recommendations- thanks! Yeah you gotta have ketchup (I *think* that's how it spelled- I think you're right) for meatloaf. I love meatloaf! Mmmmm...... I may be on IM later- I'm trying to keep myself free in case I need to run outside to help Kevin.
