Hey Gals....I just got up about 2:00....I've been very tired the last few days. I stayed and watched Moulin Rouge with my cousin until 1:30 last night (not that it was a problem or anything LOL) and then came home and watch Where the Heart Is (I <3 that movie) while I was working on a layout for my photography site. And after working on it for just about 2 hours I STILL don't have anything decent looking. I'm so picky....I want my site to look professional but yet have my own personal style mixed in with it. I mean it's no problem with the Rick site, I just kinda threw that one together, but my photography site has to look *just right.* --- dangit anyways! Let's see we wnet to the baseball game last night. It was a 6:00 game so it was REALLY HOT for about 1/2 the game. It was a GREAT game though....very exciting! Also a girl got proposed to at the ballpark....it was so sweet! :) All the guys around me were like "say no don't do it, it's a trap!" Very funny - ha ha! :P
Nat, I wish I could find cleaning theraputic. But everytime I go to clean, and I mean *really* clean, I drag out everything first so I can reorganize it, but then I get lost in a sea of clutter, and then get frustrated and overwhelemed by all the stuff that I have nothing to do with, but don't wanna throw it away. LOL I hope your hubby stays safe. Isn't there some kind of harness he could use....you'd think they'd have those. I know i"d be scared too. As for Nick....yeah I guess I was bummed he had a girlfriend, but I don't think he was attracted to me in any way at all, so it really wouldn't have mattered one way oer the other. Also, I think my parents would shoot me if I dated a man almost the same age as them. (My mom is 40, dad is 43, Nick is 39) I think I really just liked the fact that he was so smart and could tell me all this stuff I didn't know about astronomy, and he didn't do it in a *cocky* sort of way. He was also very good at engaging in coversation....a skill I have yet to master...but anyway the moment is gone and passed so I'll move on. :)
Jen - Meatloaf!! Yay! I like mine with BBQ sauce, but ketchup is a must if we're outta BBQ. I'll go check my e-mail after I post. :) Sorry to hear about the icky protien shakes....they've GOTTA make something that doesn't cause the oompa's! I've been wanting to use Windsor Pilates myself.....but I think I'll wait until I've dropped some pounds with regurlar exercise first. I'm an exercise person too. I don't loose very much weight with a "diet" and "eating right" but I can eat almost what I want and not gain as long as I exercise. However it's getting me to exercise that's the problem...I feel like i have no time in the day...I've been thinking of joining Curves, but they're kinda expensive...well they're "joining fee" is expensive anyways ($150). But yeah I'm rambling so....
Jayel - yeah I agree Rita is on a LOT. And I'm sure they'll find something to beat into the ground....it sucks that news stations do that, and it can get very annoying. How many times can you really listen to the same people talk about the same events over and over again.
Jan - sounds like you had a fabulous time at the river. *dreams of 85 degrees with low humidity* That's wonderful that your mom is a cancer survivor. My great grandma survived breast cancer, but she did have to have it removed.
Sherry - LOL Chuck E. Cheese....my parents took me there for a birthday party when I was turning 1 - I think. And all the pics they have of me are me clinging to my mother for dear life and bawling my eyes out. I guess everytime the "puppets" on the stage sang I got scared and was hysterical. The pics are too funny though. :)
Denise - they puppy is doing really good, thanks! I dunno about Nick and I hitting it off, but I'm sure he could tell I was fascinated by what he had to say. It was kinda funny though...since I'm not used to people asking me about myself, I wasn't too sure what I should say, and since I'm a shy person anyways I was already fumbling over my words....I'm surprised he didn't run away mumbling something about idiots who can't string two words, let alone two sentences together. Well at least I know what communication skills I need to work on now. :)
Leslie - I'm glad you're feeling better. :) And LMAO about the "fair and balanced" regarding Brooke Alaxander. I never said anything about her. Actually I'm not quite sure who she is...but seems like she's causing quite the uproar. LOL Hey I want my tight jeans butt shot, as much as the next woman....so if they gotta balance it out with some cleavage, then so be it.....just as long as they keep it balanced and give us our fair share of the package. ;)
Well I think that's about it for now. My tummy is grumblling so I should go feed it. Talk to you gals later.
