Hey gals! The Merlot (toast to my Merlot sister Leslie) is working wonders to calm me down lol- still in disbelief that I *actually* received the photo today. I'll try to scan tomorrow- promise! I started this post around 8:00- maybe before? It's now 9:15 & I'm *STILL* reeling!! I'm going to email my thanks on Monday. It was so funny, I was showing my co-workers & they're like "Ooh, he's cute!!" LOL!! Wow- that photo looks soooo much better in person. His eye color really stands out! Those of you now that have received photos, what do you think? I know one thing for sure: WE ROCK!! **giddy giddy happy dance** I think the merlot is having the opposite effect- how am I *ever* going to be able to sleep tonight? LOL!! I want to work on my stories (yeah, still working on those- plus a new one) but I can't concentrate. Seriously. I just keep thinking about the photo......OMG- I just came up with the BEST idea (OK- I know this should be an obvious/given- I'm a little slow)- I'm going to make it my wallpaper on my computer at work!!!

I'm *so* surprised that he sent it so soon!! It looks like he bypassed the email & just sent the photo! He prolly figured that one

Leslie- Glad you didn't have any colorful episodes! Uh....I don't think I could take the round & round thing either. Ooops- mangled *that* one, huh! I didn't think Animalmaniacs sounded right! I always liked the map song they did- it was years ago (1994?), so I don't remember how it went, but it was great. maybe it's the theme song? I'm the queen of mangling phrases & names- it won't be the last, LOL! Heh heh- "estrogen challenged"- I *knew* there was a name for that problem.....LOL! And we *LOVE* your 'over-active, slightly twisted idea of reality'!
Sherry- Hope you had fun babysitting! Oh how I *wanted* to scream - but my cranky coworker behind me wouldn't have liked it- LOL! If you have time before you go to FL, send him a quick note. Actually, I prolly would have really said "take this job & shove it" by now. The state is doing to your hubby what the city & county of SF has done to mine. I think he says that a lot but it sounds like he's on a roll this week! I guess I never gave it much thought either about how my mood dips with certain words....it's like I'm aware of it if it's strong enough, but otherwise I gloss right over them. I'm sorry to hear what happened at your job- some things just seem totally unreal- it's like "where did *that* come from? How does that *even* begin to make sense to you people in managment?" I hope things get better for you there! LOL- well at the time you posted there wasn't a photo....but now there is!! :-D I'm making a trip to Kinko's Monday AM & I'm going to put up a color copy at my desk. I dunno about a frame....I have those funky cube walls where all around half of it's metal covered by fabric & half is pushpin friendly. I may just put magnets up to hold it on the top & bottom.
Jayel- I agree- we need to keep letting the Fox PTB know when we see what we like (our faves doing great stories, etc). That's the only way they'll know is if viewers like us say something. "Greg P. is a perfectly good reporter, but he has the flatest, most monotone voice of all of the Fox reporters"- girl you just hit the nail on the head! THAT's what it is....he's not bad, but he's just so....monotone. And unexciting. But still better than uh, someone else....LOL! And poor Adam 'not moving around much'- LOL. I felt bad for him, but at the same time I had to laugh at that bullfighting story the other day too. *scratches head*-LMAO- I think that was Leslie that mentioned something about Adam being more than a handful! But the comment does make one wonder.... Hmm-hope you're right on the fact of him being closer to the studio meaning he'll be on more often. We'll just have to wait & see.
