Wow, can you gals believe that power outage?? Kinda ironic that we've been saying "we need a big story to bring back the hotties & here we have one & where are they? They're all on vacation LOL. I can hear them thinking, "Dang! I should have gone *next* week!" If Rick was there, he'd be all over it and we'd be *completely* glued to the sets. Only it's good for me (in a bittersweet way) that he's not, 'cause the 49rs & Raiders are playing....SF's ahead so far. I wasn't planning on checking in tonight, but thought I may as well- it'll be the only way to keep tabs on the outage till later. DOH! I forgot to get the rubber darts at Walgreens today while I was there..... How cool- we're watching the game on our local Fox station & it's halftime- Rick F's on talking about it (as opposed to the local news). *grins* (not for seeing Rick F- but just that they defaulted to FNC instead of the local news- no offense to Rick F, he just doesn't do much for me, uh, like other Ricks ;-D ).
Jan- I thank you again for the article! Don't feel bad- I've been feeling that 25 watt feeling too. That's a great article! Oh no!! A scuzzy guy with no teeth! EWWWWW you poor gal! LMAO- A thought just occurred to me- when I replied back to you, was the article attached? And was it in Chinese on your end? Now *that* would definitely be *out there*..... That would be one of my worst nightmares is to be stuck on the underground....I used to think of that sometimes, only it was more like, "what if there was an earthquake right now?" That's a fun one to ponder as you go through the transbay tube on BART LOL! It took my sister & I both to get my mom on a MUNI car underground (MUNI is SF's transportation (buses, cable cars, light rail vehicles- also where my my hubby works). To be stuck there in NYC in a dark tunnel, no lights, cell phone doesn't work....*shivers to think about it*. One word.....RATS. It is very sad that we are conditioned to hear "special news report" and we are affected as we weren't really before 9/11. There is that initial 'suck in all your breath & hold it' moment. And it's scary. I realize a lot that I never used to turn on the TV news in the AM while getting ready for work until 9/11. It's truly a different world since then.
Denise- I think we can get Adam to go after Arianna Huffington and her lack of paying state & federal income taxes. Yeah, just who we want to run the already bankrupt California.....NOT. OMG- the stripper and Flynt....can you believe it?? LOL- actually it was Sherry who likes Adam & requested the photo from him. He's growing on me, but not fast. I still need to request the one from Todd...... That was just too funny on For Love or Money when Rob came back. It's going to get good.....I think I like the ones better that have all girls & one guy- the cat fights are fun to watch- the guys are kinda dull (other than the looks). Eric looks greasy & icky to me. She should have nixed him this go-round. Yeah- they had Erin on Fox & Friends..um...Tuesday? I forget now. We also got suckered into "Who Wants to Marry My Dad"- we watched the tape of it last night. Hey! And they're coming out with a new Joe Millionaire this fall! That was a good one (hey, sometimes I'm easy to please LOL!). A bath..... I *so* miss having a tub......oh well, one of these days! :-D I hope you stay exempt from the power outage! I think we're going to be flooded next week with hotties galore- just gotta be.... Empty vibes can be as bad as negative vibes- both are nonproductive. That sucks that they left you holding the bag. My supervisor's going to talk to our manager about this girl's negativity- it's just so bad and you can just *feel* it (and tension) in the air.
Nan- Weds. was dull dull dull. It's a good thing we don't have a spare room- although I guess that would be the storage unit LOL!! Ignorance can definitely be bliss with teenage boys' rooms. I think when Niall was at home, we made it mandatory that he do his own wash by the time he turned 17- I don't know how they go through so many clothes. He always had more in there than Kevin's & mine put together. Yeah, CA grapes are great!! Yep- being a conservative in CA is like constantly swimming upstream- or forever watching over your shoulder....up here, I don't even dare tell anyone I'm a conservative because I don't want the harrassment. Sad, huh? I know I have as much rights as these people do, but I also don't like to get into trouble (much) and certainly don't want to be targeted. I don't know....I guess it depends on the day & how strong I feel- as you know, some days are better than others. We've been thinking about that too- we're going to see how they are all doing- right now we're going for McClintock but if it's looking close between Arnold & Cruz, it's going to be Arnold. I agree- I'm also afraid that Bustamante would do that too- Art Torres (the Dem. Com. Chairman I think) is the same, but even worse. My BP spikes immediately just when I *see* him- and that's before the yelling at the TV begins!
