Holy cow, where is everyone? (I know, I know....I keep asking that!) I forgot to mention before that I'd gotten some of my drawings out of storage (finally) on Saturday. I didn't take them all out though, I had some stuff in there from figure drawing class & a still life class that weren't all that exciting (not that I *would* mind losing them, 'cause I would)- just not my most prized work. I'm going to take some pics this w/e with the digital so I can kind of preserve them. I may put up a couple on my web page- I'll post the link here when I get them up. Got mad again at the TV last night; or rather at *what* someone was saying on H & C (lol- seems to be a common occurrence, huh!). It's just maddening to feel like you really know what's going on behind some of the crap and not being able to do much about it.
Jayel- True, so true- I'd rather hear about the recall than Kobe at this point. That story's been way blown out of proportion. I'm glad Fox is giving some time to the other candidates (like Tom McClintock- whom I really wanted to see on Greta last night, but woke up in just enough time to hear him say "thanks" at the end LOL). Adam was on early this AM on Fox & Friends. Yeah, it sucks getting caught in the stereotypes that other people have created. Theres a saying about CA being the state full of fruits & nuts- not too far off the mark, that one. There *are* some normal ones among them though thank goodness. Actually I'm an Arizonan that moved to CA so that makes me exempt LOL!! You know, years ago I had rubber darts that I used to shoot at the TV (for the life of me, I can't remember now why....) when I was annoyed....I need to get some more of those. Steve H. will *never* be able to live that one down! It saddens me to think that our government can't spend the extra for getting our troops the food & water they really need & even an AC here & there- for all the money that goes to welfare, AIDS in Africa, etc....we can't even provide our hard working troops with what they really need?? ED announced her pregnancy last week I think- I know it was while she was doing the weather- she just kinda slipped it in and everyone on the set let out a sound of surprise. It was kinda funny actually, 'cause she was just so laid back about it. "I relieved to read that those of you who are going back to school aren't going to desert the rest of us. We need you." Same here- I concurr!
Sherry- Nah, you're not losing your mind! You just fully appreciate the hottiness factor of Adam! Have you gotten a reply yet to the email? Or a photo from either Adam or Rick? I forget.....easy for me to do these days. Yep- it sounds the same for your hubby as for mine. He prolly experiences the CI issues too (I forget what that stands for, but basically people going out for lame reasons for months). I'll be curious who Kevin's union backs, but I'm sure it'll be the leftest of the left. LOL- yeah, Colmes is pretty annoying at times. I can take him sometimes, but other times...argh. I have to say that while I appreciate that they are "Fair & Balanced", I also get annoyed at him & some of the guests. LOL- the lefties prolly get that way about Hannity & the 'right-minded' guests too- so at least we're sorta even! I agree with Jayel too- I think there needs to be some revisioning when it comes to hottie vacations. I think my "thank you" email to Rick has prolly gotten lost in the "where are you" emails he's gotten. I'd like to think he'd delete the crazy ones & reply to mine..... we'll see what happens. I hope that if you haven't gotten your photo yet that you do *soon*.
OK- gotta get back to work. I doubt that I'll be checking in tonight, so ya'll have a great one! ;-D
