Hey gals!
OK- i just have to rant a little & then it'll be out of my system for a bit. They were saying on F&F this morning that someone had said (regarding Arnold) that "this time it will be real bullets". Obviously not very cool- particularly since Maria's afraid of something happening to him anyway and that her uncles were both assassinated. I just thought it was really crass. Also, I don't know if ya'll saw on Fox News- I think Saturday- they were showing some people (dems.) who crashed some peaceful supporters of the recall and were completely bashing them- kicking them with steel toed shoes/boots. They were saying on our morning talk show we listen to on the way to work that there was a small boy (around 9 y.o.) who was with their relative and supporting the recall just cowered in a corner and was crying. *screaming* These friggin people have *no* respect for anyone! When was the last time you saw republicans/conservatives beating up and tormenting kids at a dem. rally?? They're saying that there could be similar situations at the polls. I swear, if that happens, they'd better hop to it and put an immediate end to it and punish them- particularly if someone's hurt- it's just abuse, whether verbal or physical and it is uncalled for. We have a right as much as they do to put in our vote. If they can't handle it, they can...arrrrrrrgggggghhhhhhh..........well I think ya'll can fill in the blank there. The really scary thing is that the morning show was saying that a lot of the dems tactics here are reminding them of the brownshirts in Germany in the 30's. I'm embarrassed to say I live here and that we have such a fubar mess of a state. **breathes** Rant over. Thanks for the podium LOL!
Melissa- I'm sorry about the office/keys mishap- that's enough to ruin any shopping cravings! Yeah- I didn't watch Fox much either this weekend- mainly did cleaning on Sat. till around 5:00 when Niall & Erika showed up and then busy again yesterday till around 4- just in time for Fox Report. I caught snippets here & there on Saturday. OH NO!! A COUPLE OF WEEKS??? Well, I know it's well deserved. Guess he won't be replying to mine till next week, unless he happens to check it in the meantime as you suggested he may be. I'm not going to be heartbroken if he doesn't reply to the thank you, but it would be nice if he did...... You may want to wait till next week. I should have not been so quick to jump, but oh well. If I try to recall it then I'll just confuse him again, LOL!! James Rosen is kinda growing on me- he's got a great sense of humor. Good Lord, girl- you know what thoughts you put into my head when you said "...maybe Rick took a *couple* weeks off so he could head down to Cali early.."--maybe he's sightseeing in the Bay Area! Geez, I think I just thought of a few story plots all at once. LOL You know what's funny is that Niall's girlfriend has the hots for the lead singer of Third Eye Blind and she knows he lives in SF- Niall was teasing her saying that that's the only reason she wants to go to SF. She said, "well he has to go shopping & stuff *some* time!" LOL!! They make such a cute couple & she's really done wonders for him. I liked her hair- it was brown, with red & blond streaks- it just looked really cool- I don't think I could pull that off though. I'll post a photo on my site or blog sometime after I get them back.
