Hey gals! Had a great visit with my stepson but got burned from being outside for a little more than an hour (hey, I told you gals that I'm pale minty green pale! LOL) We really liked his girlfriend; we just hope that if they're serious that they know what bumps they may have in the road (such as- Niall's mom is moving to Roseville next May, Niall's living with her, so he needs to figure out what he wants to do. He's thinking of going back to TX, but Erika has a 3 year old son whose father has visitations with- it could be tough for her to move to TX with her son w/o the father saying something about it.). She was really nice- we got along well and I think Kevin liked her also. We went out to eat (yes, I opted for the strawberry blended margarita) and then came home & visited & played Scattergories. That was fun but restraint had to be used on my part: "Television Stars" letter rolled? First time: R. Second time: L. *How* I was tempted to put Rick one time & Leventhal the next LOL- but I thought, nah, better not. What I needed was an "S"- Shepard Smith- no raised eyebrows plus double points LOL. Oh yeah- had to share the squirrel stories last night at dinner- couldn't resist. I'm so hoarse now from laughing so much over all & from talking. I'm pooped.
Sherry- sorry that you had a Fox-free week! But luckily for you it was a slow week. Nah- prolly vote for McClintock or Simon- more conservative than Ah-nold. Oh, the parade.....I really want to go....I haven't come up with a good excuse yet.....I'll prolly be relegated (sp, right word?) to watching the local media coverage. Samantha (one of the girls I work with) is going to save her Sunday Contra Costa Times for me (they're the ones who mentioned it initially).
Jan- I'm sorry you had a crappy week! "too many idiots and not enough sleep"- excellent way of putting it! Wow- what a great rate for the rail tickets!! I'd like to do that sometime. Oooh- the autumn leaves....my favorite!! That'll be such an awesome trip. I'll have to remember to try that ask.com site. How the heck did you find that ProJo article?? I got in there, but not sure what keywords to use to bring it up- what's the name of the article (or keyword)? I found this one but when I tried to access it, there was a fee. I'm so confused! Help me! LOL
Jayel- Yeah, I heard that too- that Adam was a former pro baseball player! I thought, "whoa...that's cool!" He's growing on me a little. Wouldn't you know, now that we're watching all the time practically, not much newsworthy is happening. :-P Oh well! You know......32 years is just *way* too much.....I could *not* be 28 & consider marrying a 60 year old pretty much no matter what. I wish 'em luck anyways. LMAO about the viagra..... ;-D
Leslie- ROFLMAO about the poem you found in your paper!! Too true.....
Nan- That's great that the agent seems to be legit.! Sounds like Logan has a true talent; I've heard it often takes a lot of rejections before an acceptance- I'm glad he seems to be on the right path. Wow- you know for some reason, I thought Adam was on the short side. But you know, I was surprised to see that most of the SF Giants team was 6 ft plus. I think it's definitely going to be an interesting 2 months.... my hubby & I need to get online or something to check out what everyone's agendas are. Arnold's being "fiscally conservative and socially moderate" is an oxymoron- how can you be conservative fiscally wise when you're for social programs?? *Someone* has to pay for them.....prolly *us*. We're leaning toward McClintock right now, but things could change.... YES! I agree- bring on the hotties doing great stories in jeans & tight shirts......;-D Yeah, Willie has that effect on us too. I'll prolly get on AIM at work tomorrow (yeah, I'm going to be bad & not do what I should be doing.....I'm back to my "I don't care" attitude I think)- so I'll add you to my LevenGal buddies list.
I'm going to call it a night- sunburn's bugging me & my head hurts for whatever reason. I think we had more excitement this weekend than we've seen in awhile LOL!! Sorry if I missed any comments! :(
