Morning everyone!
I'm so glad it's Wednesday....that means Friday's only two days away! YAY!! No reply yet to my "thank you" email, so I assume Rick may be on vacation for a good portion of this week, if not all week. We'll see. If ya'll want to see the kind of boat we live on, you can click here. It's very similar, with some variations to the master stateroom & kitchen (ok, galley- after five years I *still* haven't adjusted to "boatspeak"). I'm going to post some photos at some point of our boat, but it's in dire need of cleaning up on the inside (let's just say I have a few paper boxes in the main salon (living room) area that are full of books & mags.-not too many- just 8 or so). But anyway, the boat pictured at this site is very similar to ours- same make, 2 years newer than ours, and some minor inside details. Oh yeah, and ours doesn't have a tub :( I miss having a tub..... but looking out on the water is priceless (and almost as stress-relieving). Here's a nice one here. LOL- I look at the main salon and think "LOOK AT ALL THAT STORAGE SPACE!" LOL!! I tell ya, we have one of the swing open door cabinets and it's absoultely *crammed* with books. I could use a couple more of those as well as a nice computer area- and this one has it.

Jan- Aw, you're sweet! ("I'm glad you trust us here, I'll always have your 'cyber' back...."). And I totally agree with you that next part about knowing ya'll here better than some of the people you've worked with for awhile. It's so funny how one network/guy(s) brought us all together. I'm just really amazed sometimes! It is very nice to know that we (hopefully) feel relieved to vent here- other than my hubby, dad, and dad's mom, I can't really vent about politics to anyone (my mom's side & my sister are all mostly liberal minded). LOL- and I certainly don't feel comfortable voicing my opinion here at work. Hey, there was a guy (here in CA?) who registered his dog to vote- it was pretty funny, but they punished him in the end. 'Sneaky Pete'- I just *love* that name! ;-D I *totally* feel like that (a 40 watt bulb in a 100 watt world)- but mainly here at work LOL. And you aren't the only one who doesn't read the directions first- been guilty of that myself....."directions (however helpful) are boring- let's get to the exciting stuff!" seems to be my motto. LMAO- "PMSNBC"! That reminds me- our old system name was PLMS- LOL! I had a hard time with that one till I got used to it! I remember the movie "Last Temptation of Christ" and I think I banned that one from my viewing because of the controversy & I just didn't care to see it (I think our church may have urged us not to see it too). I think Passion Play will be a good movie, from what I've heard so far. I agree with Nan- we'll prolly wait for DVD - we have rude movie viewers here too, and it drives me crazy. Especially when it costs so much to go- you shouldn't have to put up with that nonsense.

Nan- I'm sorry you had a crummy day yesterday too! (In addition to Jen). There's always one of those kinds of people there who wait till the last minute to say "they don't get it" and expect you to drop everything so you can do it for them. And especially after you'd checked in with her earlier- that's so wrong. I hope your boss can truly see the situation and knows that it isn't your fault. My hubby said his ex was good with bookkeeping (although I have my suspicions and would also add that yeah, she was a little *too* good- especially at hiding money....but I won't get into that) but (1) she's in Fresno, (2) she's moving to Roseville within the next year, (3) I don't know her (never met her) so I really don't know how good she is and (4) am I nuts???? LOL What kind of glasses do you have? Are they the progressives? I tried those and they drove me crazy, so I went back to my regular ones. They always say that- "give it a week" LOL. Makes you want to say, "easy for you to say!" LOL. OMG- Fantasyland & Dreamland??? LOL- now I'm glad I changed the name of my homepage (it was Dreamland ironically enough!). I just *love* the comraderie (sp?) we all have here. To me, this blog is an oasis in the crazy world that surrounds it. LOL about going through the trash at Kinko's- and you're right- I wouldn't have been out of place! I've seen some scary (gross) stuff here.....not fit for the blog. LOL- how sad, huh- but you're right, they'd be like, "Who??". I'm still working on getting that post it on my site or my blog. Maybe this weekend. Don't you just *love* LaLaLand news??? They *are* as bad as the Bay Area news....I always used to say, "and this is important....WHY?" whenever they had these lame stories on. Which is why Fox has won my heart & soul in the AM & PM. :-D "....in that they don't think anything outside their small realm is of any importance" Girl, you hit the nail right on the head- I couldn't have said it any better myself. They're very monocular. "Sales tax free day, that's great - can't imagine CA ever giving up a single day of dipping into our pockets."- yep especially not with the deficit we have (what is it, $38 billion?)- all I know is that ours- just ours- is *more* than all of the other 49 states *added together*. Pretty sad, but hopefully that will change.

Gotta get to work....I'll check in later. Have a great one!
