Hey! Did you gals catch Fox Report? Rick's parade thing was the shot of the day! OK- my computer's acting weird- more later!
EDIT: OK- so what they showed was Rick & his two girls on either side of him- he was all in white with a white boonie like hat (I think). It was hard to see his face since the hat shaded it quite a bit. They *may* have had it on our Fox news affiliate here last night at 10, but I was talking to my stepson in the other room and when I came back in I saw a tank (which may have been the one he was on- if so I *just* missed it. They talked the most about it, but nothing about Rick from the last bit I heard. Regrettably I couldn't stare at the TV as I wanted to since my hubby was watching it too LOL-- I had to just kinda watch it the way I watch the rest of the news. I'm hoping for a repeat tonight..... I wish the Bay Area was more supportive of the troops instead of always protesting the wars. Now, of course since the blackout is at the top of the news, they're talking about how we could be at risk here in CA. Kinda works to our favor here in a way, because it reminds people of Davis being responsible of the electricity fiasco 2 years ago when we had to have rolling blackouts.

Jan- Loved what you wrote about you & your sister seeing Mort Kondrake at the airport! Unfortunately the only sorta famous person I've seen at the airport was Dan Rather (I think)- it was also in an airport over 10 years ago. I must've missed that earlier clip of Rick (feeling like a *complete* dunce now- I didn't read the posts first before I first posted...D'OH!). Probably missed it when we were outside seeing Niall off. Dang it. Maybe they'll add it to the Fox Fan area of FoxNews.com. Sounds like the same bit I saw at the tail end of Fox Report though.

Jayel- I'm definitely going to email them- I'll give them kudos for showing it, but "more, please". Yep, I don't know very many people (outside ya'll) who watch Fox and fully appreciate the things we say/like about our Fox hotties. I think a couple of people I work with think I'm crazy for thinking a journalist is a hottie LOL!! I'd really get a kick out of it if they had Rick L instead of Rick F, but it sounds like Jane Skinner may be filling in tomorrow for Shep (at least that's what Laurie Dhue said tonight). OH NO!! Not Geraldo! *shudders* Rick Rick RICK!! I think Rick needs "his day" again. LOL- I had to gasp when I saw you had written "what if Geraldo is there when Saddam is found?". I'm terrible....I'm sorry! (Well, maybe not that sorry- tee hee hee). Wow, I don't think I could've made it for that long w/o power, but I think people surprise themselves by getting through times like that (that they are tougher than they realize). "Right tilting"? Who talks like that?? Oh yeah, CNN! It just sounded odd. Great quotes- and yes- it's true that it does make a difference who is reporting. I think we're evidence of that; I think everyone in general has their personal favorites.

Nan- Congrats on the great finds! And on the well-timed whine! :-D Yep, you're right there - the Bay Area is a completely different planet in another universe! :-D And I want off of it LOL! I'm actually pretty partial to this laptop, which is why I've put off getting a new one, but it *is* slow compared to what's out there. Plus I'd have to move everything from this one to that one....and networking....ugh. You know what's funny, is that I'd be more excited about seeing one of our Fox journalists than seeing any Hollyweird celebrity (well save for maybe Harrison Ford LOL!). We just watched the A&E Biography
of Tom Clancy a few nights ago- it was pretty good. I think it's funny that he used to sell insurance- gives me hope (since I'm in insurance too, and like to write).

Sherry- I think I'll probably be waiting till around after Christmas- Kevin was saying they have good sales then too. I've been checking them out at Costco but haven't been able to make a decision.
