Remind me *NEVER* to do that again! I went to Barnes & Noble to pick up my copy of Harry Potter. I just got home. There were plenty of perfectly normal people there minding their own business, thumbing through books, and lounging around in the cafe. BUT I swear it -- if there is ONE remotely INSANE person in the entire building they will flock to me like a herd of cattle. You see, I was just standing in a line (that was a mile long) minding my own business, flipping through a book with images from Iraq while waiting to get my bottled water, and out of nowhere comes this girl who just starts talking. Just talking to no one in paticular. Talking about how she's been here since 5:00, and that she's starving, and that for some reason she walked around like she was blind (don't ask me *clueless* ???) Then she sees the AMC Theaters t-shirt I'm wearing and asks me if I worked at the theater next door. So I do the polite thing *knowing this will turn out bad* and say, "No, not anymore, but I used to." So she goes on and on about how cool that must be, and then asks me if I've read the HP books ("duh! of course! *sarcasm* no I decided to read the 5th one first and wait in this stuffy place for an hour and 1/2," is what I'm thinking) but I say, "Yeah I've read them each once" then she goes on and on and on about herself and her friends and how her teacher has already read the book.......blah blah blah - yada yada yada Finally after being barely responsive she stopped talking to me.

Tell me this WHY of ALL the HUNDREDS of people in that store did the crazy one have to find me??? WHY?! Do I have a sign on my ass that says "Come torture Melissa with your rambling" I mean seriously! LOL!

Well I have to be up and out of the house by 7:00am tomorrow, so I'm going to start reading my book and probably pass out before I finish the first paragraph. Talk to y'all later. Hope everyon has a good day tomorrow, if I don't get to say "hi" until the evening. :)
