Hey gals! Thought I'd check in real quick. I can't see, so please forgive if I spell anything wrong LOL. My cold is still that, a cold. My eye doctor said she saw a scratch on my left eye and said I shouldn't wear my contacts. Since my glasses are pretty worthless with helping to see better at this point, I'm going it alone w/o 'my eyes'. She said that by MOnday I should be able to wear them again. It's just so frustrating to not be able to see. I can see up close (like reading a book, but it's really hard for me to read the computer screen. It needs to be HUGE for me to see- like 150% LOL. They played Rick's story on Yale on Fox Report tonight- it was around 4:30, I think. I missed Todd- I've had Fox on since 9?00, but I've done laundry & had the sound down for a bit today. LOL, wouldn't you know it, I'm 5 ft from the TV & I miss Todd! :-p Maybe tomorrow. I'll be doing the same tomorrow as I did today- not much.
Jayel- Thanks for the ratings! LOL, when I think of CNN I don't equate "hottie" with it- but then they *did* have the original Scud Stud- Arthur Kent. You're right though, too high of a price to pay to have to watch CNN. :) Man, Shep's on vacation again??? Now I *really* want his vacation time! Ankle monitors may be needed.
Sherry- Hope you don't get the creeping crud too! Take vitamin C & echinacea before you go- not that it always works, but couldn't hurt. Whatever this is, it must really be contageous- a lot of people at work sound the same way. That's OK about the Todd video stuff- don't worry about it. I'm sure he'll be looking good again too! :) That reminds me....I need to watch my tapes from this week still. I actually kinda like earthquakes, but then my friend used to say the same thing until she got caught up in the 7.1 1989 earthquake ( you know, the one that happened during the World Series). She almost moved back to CT after that one. Oh well, as they say you have to be careful what you wish for. They're saying that it may be another "Bay Series" this year- there hasn't been one since 1989, so everytime someone mentions that, the earthquake comes up too. Good luck at ChuckECheese!!
Thanks gals for the well wishes- colds suck, but there are a lot of other worse things so I can't complain. I'm just hard to keep down, even when I know it's the best thing. I'll prolly check in tomorrow- have a good one!
