Hi Gals! Did ya'll catch Rick this morning on F & F? He was on I guess around the last half hour of the show reporting from New Jersey about the teenagers with the hit list & 2000 rounds of ammo (not to mention knives, swords.....). It was funny, cause I had just gotten dressed and then I heard "Rick Leventhal" and I was like "holy crap!" I have to tell ya'll it's really hard to ogle and pretend I'm not ogling at the tv. Especially when I'm not wearing my contacts yet. I got to see the "Eyewitness to War" last night while I was putting the computer away, cleaning the contacts & such. This morning he was (I think) wearing a med. blue shirt....can't remember the tie (to tell you the truth, I was looking more at his face than his suit). I'm sure he'll be on a few times today so if you missed him this AM on F&F, you'll prolly see him later. I didn't have time to set the VCR for the day, plus I have an eye appt. after work and I would never have time to go through the whole tape before tomorrow (well, I could, but Kevin prolly wouldn't like it). :-p I'm thinking of changing my glasses frames to something of the old cat-eye type of frame- I've never had 'em, but they're kinda cute. We'll see- I'm going to try on some while I'm waiting. I need new glasses- when I can't keep my contacts in, I tend to not wear my glasses 'cause I can see better w/o them- scary, huh! No PO trips yet- was going to post first & then go. I'll let you know how it turns out.

Jan- LOL! Now I know what you meant by "met at the boat"- actually there's supposed to be some Cherokee on my mom's side, but I'm still trying to track that down/confirm it through other sources. Hey- you never know the wrong side of the fight may actually be the RIGHT (correct) side! :-D I think a lot of my dreams = frustration. It always seems like I'm trying to get something done & can't (like work stuff), or I make it just under the gun. Looks like you, Denise, & I have the news thing in common. Seems like I'm always bringing up something my mom, sister & grandma (mom's mom) haven't heard about yet- they're not really news hounds. My dad & grandma (dad's mom) and I however are a whole different story. We all watch a lot of Fox & I can laugh or scream about something on one of the primetime shows (O'Reilly, H&C) and they will recall the segment. It's great! Uh.....one side of my family are democrats & the other is republican.....wanna take a guess at who's what? LOL!! I think I've always been more like my dad & grandma in that respect- knowing what's going on on the surface as well as below. I remember us being on vacation once around 1987 and my mom & sister were out somewhere- the beach or something and my dad & I were in watching the Iran-Contra hearings with Ollie. Guess some things don't change! Nobody I work with here has a clue really either.....but....then I live in CA, and let's just say that I'M a minority in one respect in particular here. Talk about having to bite my tongue to avoid uncomfortable debates. It's BAD. ROFLMAO about the 3 trips a day to the post office- you must've been cracking up!

Jen- Two Weeks Notice looks like a really cute movie! I've always liked Hugh Grant (I *loved* Four Weddings and a Funeral). Sandra Bullock's good too. Yes- I would prolly feel better knowing Jen Ecc is in Liberia & not Baghdad too if I was you! Aw, Jen- don't give up. It sounds like a follow up email is gonna go out; maybe Melissa will be bright eyed & bushy tailed today and think of something brilliant! ;-D When you started by saying "okay okay okay" it reminded me of the Joe Pesci character from Lethal Weapon- lol! Dumping as Oompa Loompa- cute! LOL

Melissa- AWWWW Flowers!!! Can you guys *imagine*???? That would just be so sweeeeeet!! OMG- LOL- I hadn't fully read your post yet, and it looks like we were on the same page when you said: "but as for people at school.....well let's just say I'm in the minority" (see above where I wrote about that). I'm just so glad that I found a group of gals who make being in the minority (i.e., informed conservative) not so bad! Maybe they just haven't caught on yet... ;-) And you're right- the younger ones *are* worst about voting by name recognition only.

OK- I'm off to the PO- pray for me.

EDIT: Nothing as of 7:42 this morning (i.e., it didn't arrive Saturday....)
