Alas- I'm still a lady in waiting! I think my post office is slacking. When I peek into my box, I see some bins with a lot of "flats" in it......the people are nice there, but sometimes they're so *DANG* slow!! I'm not giving up hope yet, though. My skanky floppy desert hat should be here by Friday- YAY! Today was kinda cool, the new girl started today and she's really nice so it should be a breeze training her. My boss asked me if I would take her to lunch - ON THE EXPENSE ACCOUNT! WOO HOO! That was fun. Unfortunately I ate *way* too much and really had to fight off sleep during the afternoon. Let's just say it was a toffee nut latte day. I blew my diet bigtime, but that's what tomorrow's for- to get back on track. I'm soooo confused....Kevin & I like listening to Michael Savage on the way home, and instead they had Sean Hannity on- which is OK- but we like Savage too. The odd thing is, is that Hannity's show is on earlier for one hour, then from 4-7, and then again later on in the evening- so that's like 5 hours during a 10 hour span of time. And we can find *nothing* about what happened to Savage- it's like he disappeared- he must've really ticked off someone- lol!

Leslie- Yeah, it sounded like fun last night to invite him to the blog (at least to me), but when common sense crept in this morning, I'm thinking "yeah, prolly not a good idea"- lol! Like your theory too about Shep returning Rick's emails- LMAO! My, my- *CO-ED slumber party*??? *AT 13-14*???? I never would have even dreamed of asking for such when I was 13....*thinking back*....but then I was kinda the odd kid out at that age- talk about awkward! Girl, I wish you luck with the pre-teen- but it just really depends on how her mindset is. At 13 I was a houselaw abiding pre-teen. My sister at 13 however.....well, let's just say she was just on the verge of picking up smoking (either 14 or 15- I forget now) and sneaking off to parties with her co-conspirators. It really depends on how much of a 'leash' her parents have had on her and *really* depends on the mindset I think. The good news is that since you're in a small town I think it will keep her out of trouble. Definitely if she likes to read, the library card will do wonders.

Sherry- I haven't had problems, but then again I wasn't able to check in really until this evening. Sounds like there was some problems, though. So I guess I didn't miss Rick on Fox Report, huh? That's good 'cause I didn't tape it today (I didn't get home till 15 minutes after it ended.....didn't get my G-Block!) I wish they'd send Rick out to CA instead of Geraldo..... :/

Well.....I'll check in again in a bit. It's going to be an early night for me tonight.
