Hey, I found a quote while going through my magazines: "If you want something, it will elude you. If you do not want something, you will get ten of it in the mail"- Anna Quindlen (Living Out Loud). I think we can apply that to TV- Fox News specifically. We don't want to see Geraldo, but he's all *over* the place. We want to see Rick, and he's eluding us. Hmmmmm....think reverse psycology might work in this case?
Teri- Yeah, I think it's just going to be more of a drag than fearful actually. I'm just so used to working on my own that the thought of someone "shadowing me" is just kinda annoying- lol! As long as she's not like the last girl I sat with briefly last summer I'll be fine. She was just obnoxious (in the do-gooder-know-it-all-sense). Dangit, my keyboard is bouncing me all over the place again!
Sherry- Sorry your camping trip went so terrible! Yay that Rick wrote you back!! So.....are you gonna share??? :D
Jan- LOL- Rick in a 'time out'- geez, I hope not! Maybe it's 'cause all the breaking stories are outside of NY. I wish they'd spread him out more, but maybe it's his choice too to stay local. I remember Anne of Green Gables, but I don't think I've ever read it. I don't remember The Boxcar Children. Remember the Judy Blume books? About 12 years ago I remember reading "Blubber" and "Hello God It's Me, Margaret" while going through minor surgery recovery. It was nice to have some "comfort reading". I read both the same weekend, cover to cover. Girl, I hope you're right! I'm kinda thinking the same thing too- *envisioning a large white envelope with the Fox News logo in the upper left hand corner in my box*. I think I'm going to make an early run tomorrow AM (they open at 7:00), that way if it comes, I can share the wealth here. I forget what's in store for me tomorrow with the new hire, but I have a crapload of work to try to get done before I start that adventure!
OK- I'm off to do bills, laundry, and.......other things as I remember them- lol!
