OK- I cannot believe I just *DID* what I did.....I had a nice post going and instead of hitting ~ I hit Esc. Took away the whole post....so.....here goes again- lol!
Love the 'main dish' and 'side dish' idea- although Todd would have to be the 'side dish' instead of Shep- I love Shep's sense of humor but he just doesn't 'melt my socks' as Leslie put it. That leaves more Shep for all you ShepHerders here! ;D
Ellen- don't feel bad about missing him- I have *YET* to see him since he came back from his little vacation. Tomorrow though.... I plan on setting the VCR! Yes, I hope everyone stays safe & alert! I just keep hoping & praying that everything in that regard is under control. I can't shake the feeling either (I think Melissa had said that) of this round of orange alert. Sometimes I really don't like my intuition. I agree- NYC has really impressed me since 9-11- the way people came together and helped one another- it's just amazing. I have a newfound respect for them. It sounds like everyone's getting ready for summer- diets & all! I just really feel energized to get back on track again. The WW thing has really been a lifestyle change for me- I don't think I've eaten this healthy since I was living at home (about 16 years ago). I have around 48 oz of water, 5 veggies/fruits a day (those two things alone are a miracle for me!), and I've been more mindful about how many things I've been mindlessly eating. Walks *are* really good for the body & soul. Where do you live in the Wild & Windy West?
Boy, I wish Rick would cover our Fleet Week in October! How *AWESOME* would *THAT* be??? (At least for me anyway, and any other LevenGals on the West coast!) Leslie- love the description of Rick ....I wish I could see! :/ But I will eventually ~ OK- back to work- lunch's over! I'm gettin' outta here on time today (if not 5 min. earlier) if it kills me.....(figuratively of course- not literally)- LOL. If I can get home by 4:15 I can catch 45 min. of Fox Report.....
