Rick is the main dish, and Shep on the side. I get it and I like it.

Studio B has just started so I hope I see something of Rick. I cannot believe I missed him again! So he will be in NY for fleet week. At least I know now to watch closely all week.

With the High Terror Alert status nationally I will be in prayer for all of you living in major cities - especially on the coast and near ports. Please stay safe and be alert. Because of this alert Fox News in New York - especially our Rick will be on my mind. I have never been to New York - but in the last year I have to say that I have a growing respect for the citizens of this city. They make me so proud to be and American for the way they hold their heads high and have shown us all how to bounce back from tradgedy.

American Idol did suck me in this time - I didn't watch it last time and based on who I saw win last year I had little interest because I didn't think they were that good and I really haven't seen much improvement in them over the last year. Whereas I think Clay and Rick will only improve and grow - they have quite a future ahead of them. I am rooting for them both.

Well, I hear Shep on the TV behind me and I am hoping he will mention my email to "Speak Out". It was quite funny if I say so myself. Maybe in a lighter moment today it will be read - we shall see.

Diets and Weight Loss: I started the Atkins Diet a week ago. I am on Phase one the lasts two weeks. I have to say this really isn't a diet, it is more of a life change in the way I need to look at food. It has been really easy and I think it will work for me - especially if I can get those long walks in as well.

Melissa, hope you are enjoing your walks with your Mom. I love to exercise with a friend or a relative - because it can really make you closer.

Well back to work. Bye from they Wild and Windy West - EAJ
