Hi Gals!
The blog was a ghost town yesterday, but then at night it really came alive! This could take awhile! I'm kinda blah today- I don't know if it's just 'cause I'm really tired, allergies, stuffy in here or what. Usually I can read in the car on the way in, but I think the curves & changes in altitude did a doozy on me today. I don't feel exactly nauseous, just really warm and weak- I think my ears are blocked or something cause things sound strangely different- muffled yet very loud sometimes; maybe it's my equilibrium.
Melissa- Congrats on the new puppy!! Awww....puppies are so cuuuuuute!! Labs are soooo cute and so sweet. I think we have a sub-club here of "gals who were mentally mature beyond their age before anyone else" LOL It took me *years* to figure out who I wanted to be, and I think I'm there, but find I have to make adjustments once in awhile. I think I had epiphanies in 1990 and 1996- I went through what I thought were major changes (mainly mentally) in those two years. That's one of my biggest fears too- that at age___, I will finally figure out what I want to do, and it will be almost too late. I've always felt I was a late bloomer and kinda late in figuring out stuff like that. It's not much consolation, but rest assured that you're not alone in that feeling/fear. It's always fun to regress every once in awhile - keeps the mind young! ;-D Cute puppy stories!! Although I'm sure him peeing on the vent prolly wasn't much fun.... GREAT layout on the www.Rick-Leventhal.com site, Melissa!! Actually I think blue suits Rick very well.
Melissa/Jen- I think I was on the same insomnia page as you were last night....I watched the end of (I just *know* I'm going to mangle this) "Hercule Poirot" - Kevn fell asleep half way through it and I just had to find out "who dunnit". Then I read till 11:45, then laid there wide awake watching Fox till 12:30 at least. 4:30 came all to quickly.....Sunday nights are my roughest for falling asleep. It's that dread of going to work thing......
Jen- I will look for you on AIM- I may be here & there. Maybe once stuff here at work settles down (next month) I'll be able to send more IMs from work. Take care, girl!
a h- you can get AIM by toing to the AOL website. It's been awhile since I've been there, but I'm sure they have a link for Netscape AIM (as opposed to the AOL member version). Perhaps one of the more recent AOL IM signer-uppers here can give you more direction if my directions are sketchy.....
Leslie- Yeah, ain't dads great? Mine seems to know a lot about that kind of thing too, although his specialty is car stuff. (I *think* I put up a pic on my homepage that has my stepmom & him in front of the car he built). I always used to bring my car problems to him when I was still in AZ. That's great that he was able to find all those things that would have been eventual problems. Leslie- demure? LOL! (j/k)
Jan- Super-glue-crossed- LOL Yeah, mine too......you know I wasn't feeling all that great before we left home, but then I thought, "no, *have* to go in- what if it shows up today?" Am I a glutton for punishment or what?? Well, that and I have to push a bunch of work through during the first part of this week.
Nan- How sweet- you guys have been married 25 years! I just think that's so great, 'cause in today's world, there's a lot of people who divorce long before they get close to 25. It freaks me out that my parents would have been married for 35 years had they stayed together. I think *that* makes me feel old more than anything else-LOL. Don't ya just love how the grey gets magically washed away?? Love those products! ;-D
OK- *really* need to get to work....I'll give ya'll a PU (pic update for you newbies) later.
