Leslie- Hope you have a safe trip! Actually the first thing I thought of when you said "LevenLogs" is (well, actually after Lincoln Logs- LOL) was that even though this is a "blog", our writings here could be seen as a "LevenLog" (and ShepLog, ToddLog, etc. etc.).
Teri- There's something to say about the doldrums, though! :D Sometimes when I look back and think "geez, my life is boring!" It's usually the "boring" times I've thought of fondly. Even going to the laundromat when I first moved to SF- sounds boring, but it's sentimental to me- LOL! I like Anne Coulter too- they have her occasionally on the local talk radio show in the mornings. I didn't know she was coming out with a new book- I'm going to have to add that to my Amazon/Borders wish list! I know what you mean about missing your stuff.....going to the storage unit is just agonizing to me 'cause I see all the stuff in there and just hope it makes it (no fires, earthquakes, broken into, other bad stuff) till we get to TX. Summers make me nervous 'cause of all the grass fires that occur in the summer (it's kinda out in the boonies). So I totally sympathize with you- it prolly sounds materialistic, but a lot of stuff can really be sentimental. LOL- hmmmm Rick scuzzy with skanky hat and nothing else.....back later, gotta go get my GutterGal butt out of the gutter! :D
Jan- The travelogue thing really *IS* a great idea.....like Jayel said, thing about it more & consider emailing TPTB about it. Just remember you're "Rick specific"- LOL!
Melissa- If I remember right, there's an Irish superstition that if it rains the day of the wedding, the bride & groom will have a long happy life together. No Rick today, but there was loads of Todd!! YAY! And he looked *GOOD*......he was covering the Belmont race. Aw.....I hope you feel better!! Weddings have a way of doing that to people. And it's great you don't match- LOL- I do the *same* thing.....I'd rather not match. It's always plaid flannel pants & t-shirts for me! LOL
I had a sinus headache most of the day- didn't feel it till I sat up this morning and then it was like someone hit me with a sledgehammer. I took the usual drugs (advil & sudafed), had breakfast & watched Fox for a bit. I wanted to do some late spring cleaning (hehe- I guess it'd really be summer cleaning now)- so I did light stuff. The dang headache only went away about 2 hours ago. I worked through it, like I seem to usually do- I rarely lie down with these things anymore since I've kinda gotten used to 'em. Gals, I have a lot of major reading to do!! I was trying to decide what books to put into storage, and it's tough. I just want to read everything. I wish I had more time to do that.
