OMG Melissa!! **crying for you** OMG, I'm so sorry!! How terrible!! Your losing your negatives would be like me losing my writing- printed and stuff on disc. It's just impossible to replace it. Yeah, I wouldn't be sweating the CDs & other replaceable things- so I know what you mean. God, I hope things get better for you- SOON!! I hope whomever broke into your car suffers a major setback in their life (that's the *nicest* way I can find to say what I really want to say.....). You didn't deserve this stuff to happen, but those *%*(*&@^s deserve any and every bit of bad luck they get! People are just so mean (and as the bumper sticker says, "they suck"). We have decent bus service here (particularly in the City & East/South Bays). Marin county is iffy- you kinda need a car up here. But having lived in AZ- aka land of people voting down public transit- I can commiserate on your lack of transportation.

You guys- I feel like a total idiot....the whole explosion thing turned out to really be nothing so far as they can tell. Melissa- I think you had more trauma than those people at SFO had! So, basically they think it was an overheated battery in someone's electrical stuff. They said earlier that it was a camping stove-LOL- now what you would need to bring a camping stove onto the airline to HI for, I have *no* idea. I've heard more reports that it was an overheated battery than the camping stove though. So....please excuse my panic- I guess it's the times we live in now. :/

Melissa- I hope your day & week get better!! Hopefully Rick will grace us with his presence this week.
